9 Days Rwanda’s Attraction

Arriving in Kigali international airport, you will be picked up by a guide and drive you to the respective hotel and then you check in. There will not be any activity to carry out.

In the morning after breakfast, we shall have a short briefing by the guide and drive to the eastern low land of Rwanda. Arriving in Akagera National Park (125 km/2.5 hrs.) you proceed on park reception for registration and after we have our lunch in Akagera game lodge. Later afternoon we shall go for a boat ride in Lake Ihema. And overnight in Akagera game lodge.

In the early morning we shall have breakfast, we shall check out the hotel and get ready for the full day game drive in the park starting from the northern part of the park to the exit in the southern corridor. During the game drive, we shall have high occasions of coming across the BIG FIVE. The big five are lions, leopards, buffaloes, Rhinos and the Elephants. Not only that we can come across the big five but also in the park are very many species of Antelopes, and Giraffes.
To bird lovers there are different species of birds including the shoebill and very many species of plants. After the game drive in the evening, we will drive back to Kigali. 

Early in the morning after breakfast we shall check out the hotel and we drive to nyungwe national park. Where we shall have a stopover in Huye district and visit the ethnographic museum were we shall see and learn about Rwandan traditional culture. By 12hours midday we shall have our lunch and continue to nyungwe forest for the canopy walkway. After the canopy we shall go to the hotel and bath waiting for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast we shall be going for the Kamirazovou waterfall which will take almost 5hours viewing the spectaculars landscape of the park with beautiful sounds of the birds in the forest. Then after we should go for lunch and after we transfer to Karongi. Arriving in Karongi we shall drop to our hotel and overnight in Karongi preparing ourselves for tomorrow’s visit of the islands.

This sixth day will be well spent in water visiting different islands that can be found in the lake. Lake Kivu is the biggest lake in Rwanda. The most amazingness is that there is a German boat that was used in Second World War. And it’s still in Kivu where we shall have a chance to visit it. Then after the visit of the islands we shall return to the hotel for overnight.

Morning after breakfast we shall check out and travel to Rubavu for the Gisenyi city tour where we will visit the D.R.Congo border, after the tour around Gisenyi we shall have lunch and then go for the hot springs, and do some Kayaking in Kivu lake. Then after drive to Musanze for overnight.

Very early in the morning we shall check out the hotel and drive to the park entrance for registration and we shall find hot coffee waiting for us before the start of trekking the only remaining species of mountains Gorilla.
Later after trekking we shall have lunch and go visit the Gorilla Guidance in Kinigi. To see how poachers turned into Gorilla Guidance. Teaching the benefits of protecting these species. And also they teach about Rwandans heritage.
After the visit we shall transfer back to Kigali for Dinner and overnight. 

In the morning after breakfast we shall make a Kigali city tour were we are to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial site at Gisozi. And after the visit we shall have lunch and waiting for the later afternoon flight.
