Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Upon your arrival your river guide will drive you on a 4hours drive to Uganda through katuna boarder, when you reach the boarder there will be a registration before entering into Uganda then we shall proceed to the lodge for dinner and overnight. We shall rest for the evening at the lodge with no other activity.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking an Batwa village visit

After breakfast early in the morning we shall then head out to the park headquarters for a briefing before of the gorilla trek which starts as early as 6:00 am the trekking normally takes 30 mins to 6 hrs depending on the movements of the gorillas. And also depending on the people in your group since guides /rangers move following the slowest person in the group. We shall use the Rushaga gate where it’s easy to access the Gorillas, when you reach the families, you will be given 1 hr with the gorillas and move back to the starting point for another activity. We shall have lunch at the lodge ten go and visit the pygmies in the Batwa village, later head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison falls national park

Early morning after breakfast, we shall head out at 5:00 am for a 11 hours drive to the northern part of Uganda where Murchison fall national park is located, we shall have lunch in Masindi en route to Murchison falls park. We shall pass through kaniyo Pabidi forest on the southern gate of kichumbanyobo 85km from Masindi town. We shall have a registration at the gate and then proceed with a game drive, the park I composed of woodland, wetland, savannah as well as tropical forest that is well known to be a habitant for different bird species and mammals. You will be able to spot some monkeys and baboons as we head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full day Game drive

Early in the morning after our breakfast, we shall head out for our morning game drive with our lunch boxes to the north of the park where we shall see mammals including elephants’, Rothschild’s giraffe, cape buffalo’s, Ugandan kob, warthog, Jackson’s hartebeest, lions, hippos and many more animals including the blue mountain of Congo across the lake Albert. Later in the evening we shall return back to the lodge for overnight ad dinner.

Day 5: Boat safari and hike to the falls and game drive

After breakfast we shall have a morning game drive in the south too searching for animals that we missed out on. After lunch, we shall go for a boat safari to the bottom of the falls were we shall be guided to the top of the falls by the guide. The boat trip begins at Paraa landing area at the point where river Nile enters into lake Albert. While on the cruise you will sight on hippos, waterbucks, crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants. You will also see water birds such as cormorants, fish eagles, ducks, kingfishers, bee eaters and the shoebill. Upon reaching the bottom your guide will guide you up to the top of the Falls you will find two falls on the top Uhuru and Murchison falls.At the Nyamsika cliffs we shall enjoy a beautiful view and a picnic lunch just above the falls and then proceed for another game dive as we head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to the rhino sanctuary and Entebbe.

Early in the morning after breakfast we shall exit Murchison falls for the rhino sanctuary where we shall see the rhino one of the big 5’s. we shall drive to the sanctuary which is the only place where you will find rhinos and trek them on foot in Uganda, you will also be given 1 hour with them but also have a chance to visit more than one family. We shall have lunch and then proceed to Entebbe airport for you flight.
