Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Uganda through Cyanika boarder.

Duration: 3hours 9mins (146.3km)
Upon your arrival at Kigali international airport, your driver guide will be waiting to help you with your luggage to the car and hen drive off to Uganda for your 11days tour to the pearl of Africa. You will be driven through the boarder of Cyanika north of Rwanda and south of Uganda. Upon arrival in Uganda you will drive straight to your lodge for a rest as you wait for tomorrow’s activity. You will have a warm welcome at the lodge before you settle in.Lake Mulehe lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Kibale

Duration: 4 hrs (gorilla trek), 5 hours drive to Queen Elizabeth national park
Early in the morning you will wake up to hot breakfast at 6:30am and later head out for your gorilla trekking which starts 8:00am with your packed lunch. You will be driven 15mins to the starting point where you will have your gorilla  briefing with your guide and ranger for the day, he will brief you about the dos and don’ts during the trek. You can also hire a porter if you need too for him to carry your backpacker. The trek is unpredictable so it might last from 3hours to 5hours, when you reach the gorillas you will be given 1hour with them to take pictures and admire them then head back to the starting point where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to queen Elizabeth national park for a game drive. Day 3: Game drive at Queen Elizabeth national park

Duration: Full day
Location: kasese district

Early in the morning we shall have breakfast at 5:00am so that we can start the drive at 6:00am in order to see the early birds who are come out for the sunbathing and looking for food. You will explore the whole park and get to see some of the big 5 including the Elephants, buffaloes, tree climbing lions and hippos. Furthermore you will get to see other animals like the different antelopes (kobs, topi, elands, statungas etc.), leopards, giraffes, zebras, common warthogs, spotted hyena, Oribi and many more in the evening you will go for a boat ride at the and get to see the beautiful water animals like the crocodiles, hippos and those that come to have some water for the thirst and bathe. You will also enjoy seeing some water birds if you’re a bird lover. Later in the evening you will retire to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Half day game drive and transfer to Kibale NP

Kibale National Forest has one of the highest diversity and concentration of primates in Africa. It is home to a large number of endangered chimpanzees, as well as the red colobus monkey (status: Endangered) and the rare L’Hoest’s monkey. There are approximately 229 species of trees found within the moist tropical forests of the park. Some endangered timber species of trees include Cordia millenii, Entandrophragma angolense, and Lovoa swynnertonnii. The forest understory is dominated by shade-tolerant shrubs and herbs, which include Palisota schweinfurthii and Pollia condensate, in addition to ferns and broad leaf grasses.Early in the morning you will checkout the hotel for Kibale national park with parked lunch, our way we shall have a game drive out of the park with no stops to view the animals. You will be driven via Hima – Katunguru Rd/Mbarara – Kasese Rd and Fort Portal-Mpondwe Rd. On request we shall have a stopover if not we shall continue to Kibale forest national park. Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking

Location; Kibale forest national park
Kibale National Park contains one of the loveliest and most varied tracts of tropical forest in Uganda. Forest cover, interspersed with patches of grassland and swamp, dominates the northern and central parts of the park on an elevated plateau. Kibale is famously known for Chimpanzee tracking, The Park is home to a total of 70 mammal species, most famously 13 species of primate including the chimpanzee and it also contains over 375 species of birds. Early in the morning you will wake up and have breakfast at 6:30am and then be driven to park headquarters for your briefing and start of the trek which will start off at 8:00am, it’s better to trek them early in the morning when they are still feeding. Unlike the gorillas the chimps are not that calm so be ready to chase them around. Just like the gorillas, the trekking time is unpredictable because these primates are so active. They call them the closest family to the human-beings. After the trek you will return to the lodge and have some time to admire the beauty of Uganda at your lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Kampala

Kampala is Uganda’s national and commercial capital bordering Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake. Hills covered with red-tile villas and trees surround an urban center of contemporary skyscrapers. In this downtown area, the Uganda Museum explores the country’s tribal heritage through an extensive collection of artefacts. On nearby Mengo Hill is Lubiri Palace, the former seat of the Buganda Kingdom. Kampala was named the 13th fastest growing city on the planet, with an annual population growth rate of 4.03 percent, by City Mayors. Kampala has been ranked the best city to live in East Africaahead of Nairobi and Kigali by Mercer, a global development consulting agency based in New York City. Early in the morning after breakfast we shall checkout the hotel the hotel and drive to the capital city of Uganda which is Kampala. One of the busiest towns in Uganda. For your Kampala city tour, you will get to visit the kasubi tombs, Uganda museum, Uganda national mosque, Ndere cultural center, the stride monument, the national theater, Namugongo martyrs shrine and the independence monument. Day 7: Kampala city tour

Duration: 6hours tour and 2hours 11mins Jinja
Location: Kampala and Jinja

Early in the morning after our breakfast we shall pick on from where we stopped on yesterday, we shall visit the places that we were unable to visit and later have lunch at a restaurant in town and then proceed to Jinja district where the source of the Nile is found. We shall dive through the largest rain forest in East Africa (Mabira rainforest) and also pass through tea plantations as well as sugarcane plantations. Overnight at Paradise hotel

Day 8: Source of the Nile tour

Duration: Full day
Location: Jinja

Jinja is a town in southern Uganda, on the shore of Lake Victoria. The source of the Nile, at Coronation Park, is marked by a garden and a monument honoring British explorer John Hanging Speke. Owen Falls Dam and Bujagali Dam both span the Nile. Farther north on the river, Itanda Falls is known for its white-water rapids. East of Jinja, on Lake Victoria, Samuka Island is home to birdlife, including little egrets.We shall start on our tour early in the morning by visiting the source of the Nile, Speke memorial monument, ripon falls and the bujagali falls. We shall have late lunch at the hotel and do some gift/souvenir shopping in the evening and then retire at the lodge.

Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe town

Duration: 2hours 45mins
Early in the morning after you have had your breakfast, you checkout the hotel with your luggage and say bye to Jinja because you will be driving to Entebbe town via Kampala for your next day flight. We shall use the same route we used on our to Jinja, we shall have a stopover in Kampala for our lunch before heading to Entebbe for your next destinations. 1 hours drive through the Entebbe express way to your hotel.

Day 10: Transfer to the airport

Location: Entebbe
Depending on the time of your flight, you will wake up early morning have your breakfast depending on the time of your flight, you can opt to go and relax by the beach as you wait to be dropped off at the airport for your next flight by your driver guide
